Consider sharing examples of how technology is being used in your community to: ● Improve resident health and safety ● Enhance quality of life ● Support independence ● Strengthen family connections ● Enable more meaningful staff-resident interactions At the same time, be prepared to explain the measures your community has in place to protect resident privacy and ensure responsible use of technology. Real-World Examples of Technology in Action Many communities are successfully using innovative solutions that directly benefit residents, including: Wearable Health Monitoring Devices Wearable technologies can help monitor resident biometrics and identify potential health concerns earlier, enabling proactive interventions and improved outcomes. Social Engagement and Connection Tools Activity apps, video calling platforms and AI-powered companion devices can help combat loneliness and support resident engagement by making it easier to connect with family, friends and community activities. Family Communication Platforms Technology can also provide families with greater visibility into their loved one's care and daily experiences, keeping them informed about activities, updates and important community information.
