A Love He Won ’ t Forget by Jenni Jimenez He lays his sleepy head down, wondering where he was, Thinking of what he did that day, and thinking about their love. He’s not too sure what’s happened or where he’s been all day, But the love he feels for her is as strong as that first day.

Jenni Jimenez brings over five years of experience in senior living – including Assisted Living, Memory Care and senior fitness – to her role as activity director at Ivy Park Laguna Creek . Known for her creativity, energy and compassion, Jenni is dedicated to designing engaging, meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of residents every day.

His days are very long as he wanders down the halls; His shirts still hold her scent, and tears begin to fall.

His memory is fading fast, and his thoughts start slipping away; He tries to get the words out, but somehow he can’t convey.

As he wakes in the morning and rises with the sun, She’s not laying next to him, and the silence weighs a ton. He wears the same old hat and buttoned-up old shirt, Trying to live another day without the sight of her. He tries to rest his mind while feeling so confused, But every memory he replays feels so twisted and so fused. His name he can’t remember, nor the day that he was born; He tries the best he can, but his body feels so worn.

She’s the first thing on his mind and the last to leave behind— A love he won’t regret, she’s the one he can’t forget.
